The first time I tasted cauliflower mash, I was utterly blown away by the taste and by the fact that it tasted so much like mashed potatoes. And because I love mashed potatoes, I decided to make my own organic version of cauliflower mash. Thus this simple and easy recipe was born, and it is scrumptious. By the way, cauliflower mash taste way better than mashed potatoes!

Cauliflower has a lot of health benefits. This beautiful white vegetable contains a considerable amount of vitamin C, folate, and vitamin K.

Super Easy & Tasty Mashed Cauliflower

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, trimmed and cut into small florets (about 6 to 7 cups)
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • (optional - 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt)


  • In a large pot, add in chicken broth and heat. Place cauliflower in a steamer basket and set over broth. Steam cauliflower for 7 to 10 minutes or until fork tender.
  • Once cauliflower is tender, transfer cauliflower and broth to a food processor. Add butter and purée until smooth. (Or, mash cauliflower with a potato masher)
