I am a homemade salsa junkie! I love how easy salsa is to prepare. How it’s loaded with flavor and tons of veggies. Complete win, win for my taste buds. Oh…and serve me some freshly made bean salsa and life is good.  That’s why this salsa recipe falls into my favorite list because it is loaded with healthy ingredients and a powerful taste. 

Beans are very healthy. They are packed with protein, fiber, calcium and potassium. Beans help with weight loss efforts, balance blood sugar levels, are heart healthy and taste great. I especially love the soft taste of cannellini beans. I also love their off-white color, which makes this salsa combination so appealing to the eye. 

Believe it or not, this salsa blend took me approximately 10 mins to make. However, if you are like me who chops veggies way in advance, then putting together this or any salsa blend can easily take you less than five minutes.

Give this quick and easy cannellini salsa a try, you will fall in love with its bursting flavor!

Quick and Easy Cilantro Cannellini Bean Salsa

  • 1 8 oz of organic BPA free canned cannelloni beans
  • 1 Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Clove of garlic, mashed
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 Cup of fresh chopped cilantro
  • 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of celtic sea salt


  • Drain but don't rinse beans.
  • Transfer beans to a medium size bowl and mix in peppers, garlic, tomato, cilantro, lemon juice and salt.
  • Once mixed, you can place in the refrigorator for an hour to allow the flavor of all the ingredients to come together.

Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
